Dior’s Spring Lace Color Collection is inspired by the soft, feminine lace of the 1920’s and it could not be any more beautifully presented even if it tried. “Dentelle” (French for lace) is embossed all over this collection and it makes me almost hesitant to use my Lace Face Highlighting Powder for fear of ruining the beautiful overlay!
The star of the show is the Dior Poudrier Dentelle, their highlighting powder in an sleek silver compact with a lace overlay on the powder that both mattifies and adds shimmer to the skin.
The 5-Colour Dentelle Eyeshadow Palette in Coquette #743 is gorgeous and is going on my wishlist immediately, I am loving the peachy shades contrasting against the taupe, grey and plum shades. That screams gorgeous to me. There’s also the 5-Colour Iridescent Dentelle Eyeshadow Palette in Pearl Glow #059 for the gals that like a bit of iridescence here and there.
Then there’s the Dior Dentelle Blush in Vintage Pink #839, a duo of peach and pink shades perfect for spring cheeks.
I already told you about Creme de Rose Lip Balm. My relationship with this lip balm has intensified since then, I now have a pretty pronounced dip in this lovely lip balm. I don’t have to worry about ever running out though! The good news is that this lip balm is permanent to the Dior lineup.
This collection also introduces 2 new shades of Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss Reflect in Beige Veil #427 and Pink Corset #857.
Three shades of Dior Addict Lipcolor are also being introduced in this collection; Pink Eyelet #419, Pink Embroidery #663 and Pink Bustier #863.
Finally, this collection features 2 Dior Vernis nail polishes in Pink Ballet #184 and Silver Pearl #604.
I love the names of all of the shades, all very intimate and female. Don’t you think? Besides the eyeshadow quad, the Dior Poudrier Dentelle is going on my wishlist. I’d love to see how this powder mattifies skin yet makes it glow. Have you picked up anything from this collection? Let us know in the comments.
