Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Crash Course Collection

I’m a sucker for sets (I’m sure I’m not alone here :)) and this Bare Escentuals Bare Minerals Crash Course Collection caught my eye right away the last time I was browsing the counters at Nordstrom, my unofficial home away from home.

At $22, I couldn’t pass it up. Bare Escentuals recently launched a new mascara called Flawless Definition Mascara and I was curious about it. When I saw this set included a deluxe sample version of said mascara in Black, a mini version of their 100% Natural Lipgloss in Wild Honey (a golden pearl pink shade that smells delicious!) and Gossip eyeshadow (a very now and pretty shimmering grey) all in a cute little metallic pouch, I thought it was a great way to try that mascara and finally give in to my inner shopaholic and try that lip gloss I’ve been wondering about for months.

  1. how do you feel about Bare Minerals in general? I’ve always wanted to try their stuff, but never taken the chance to do it. I’ve got mineral foundation from Mary Kay, but it doesn’t give the coverage I want on it’s own, so I use it more as a powder on top when I remember.

    1. I am a Bare Minerals fan, their coverage works for me and they are foundation is easily available. I have some issues I need to cover up and it does a good job of that.

  2. I have used Bare Minerals for the last 3-4 years and love it….being one who was a bit skeptical about full coverage…I wasn’t sure at first but found that it works and it does the job!
