I just spent the night with a new friend, Softening Socks from Bliss. I was in a bad mood last night and I decided to treat myself to these socks that I had been eying every time I set foot in Sephora.
These socks are different from your normal pair of moisturizing socks because they are gel lined and this actually traps the moisture in while you wear them. I slathered my feet with Philosophy’s Soul Owner and hung out for awhile. The directions say you can wear them for 20 minutes to use them as a treatment or you can wear them overnight so I slept in them. When I took them off earlier this morning, my feet actually looked a bit like prunes. That just goes to show how powerful these socks actually are, 20 minutes was really all I needed. It is a bit awkward to walk in these socks, I kept thinking I was going to slip and fall but what’s a little risk in exchange for soft, lovable feet?
I didn’t buy the co-ordinating Softening Sock Salve, I figured I had spent enough on this product already but I am sure that any variety of moisturizer would work in combination with these socks.
If I were to nitpick and find a complaint about this product, it would be it’s price tag. This is why I waited so long before actually buying these socks. If I had enough patience to order something online and wait for it to arrive, I might have actually tried GeLuscious Booties instead. This product is half the price and I suspect it works the exact same way.

Aren’t these boyshorts from Honeydew Intimates adorable? These are their

When it comes to kissable flavors, I’m much more of a cinnamon girl than a mint girl. Luckily, Booty Parlor has you taken care of with whatever flavor you prefer. I’m So Sexy Lip Gloss comes in two flavors,

I can’t wait to see this collection in person. It features a few colors that I am very excited about. For example, Moth Brown was a limited edition eye shadow that this collection is bringing back. It’s a charcoal brown with a bit of grey frost thrown in. I missed it last time but I will not make the same mistake twice. I’m also looking forward to playing around with Springtime Skipper, Playful and Magic Dust. Other than that, I’m expecting that I will be picking up Malibu Barbie Lip Glass, Pearl Sunshine Beauty Powder, Steamy Nail Polish and maybe a Glimmershimmer.
This collection includes new limited edition lipsticks, new limited edition lipglosses, creme lip liners, new limited edition eyeshadows, liquid eyeliners (including 1 limited edition shade), mascara, blushes, limited edition beauty powders, limited edition liquids shimmers, new limited nail polishes, a buffer brush and other Barbie collectibles. You can find the complete collection
What’s not to love about these lip glosses? They are so much fun, I spent a half hour just swatching all of these glosses on my hands when I first saw them. Each lip gloss is named after a drink and they smell and taste like them too, without the alcohol of course. My favorite thing about this lip gloss is that the applicator and how handy it is. I hate pumping wands in and out of a tube, just hoping to get enough product on the applicator. I wish more lip glosses used this type of built in applicator. The consistency is a bit thinner than most lip glosses, which I like, but it provides plenty of shine. When I first saw them, the guy at Sephora suggested Tequila Sunrise. I thought to myself “Is he crazy?” but after playing around with it, I actually picked this shade up. It’s gorgeous tangerine color that’s sheer and adds a great tint to your lips. I can’t wait until I can use it with

The idea behind this lipgloss is that it plumps your lips with a cooling tingle. I didn’t see much of a difference in the fullness of my lips since they seem to be pretty resistant to lip plumping products, so I’ll let that slide but I can definitely feel the tingling.
It’s consistency is good as well, it’s not so thick that if feels like your lips are stuck together. One thing that surprised me about this product was it’s size. When it comes to lipgloss, I’m so use to seeing skinny little tubes like MAC’s Lipglass. It’s good to see more companies embracing the “bigger is better” notion. Also, I like how my lips feel when I wear this gloss… they feel soft and luscious. Maybe it’s the infusion of antioxidant vitamins A and E that keep lips protected.
In February, Tarte will be introducing it’s brand new vitamin infused lipgloss,

I was hoping I would re-evaluate my position on the line’s foundation but instead I came away with a deep love for the line’s
I would ordinarily shy away from a palette full of pink eyeshadow but these colors are so soft that they are completely wearable everyday. The four shades in the all new Pink Rain palette (pictured below) are almost monochromatic and work really well together. They range from a dark taupe, a rich rose, a delicate pink and a light pearl, all with a very soft shimmer. Of course these eye shadows are unbelievably soft. Laura Mercier is known for her “cashmere” like eyeshadows and these are no exception.
When I first saw the Plum Velvet palette (pictured above), I remember thinking how beautiful it was but this Pink Rain palette is even better. I’m almost afraid to use, I want to hang on to it as long as possible. If you see this palette in person, I think you’ll agree but you’ll need to act fast. Laura Mercier counters everywhere are selling out of the Pink Rain palette as we speak.
This product is a great hand cream for those of us who want to give our hands and nails a little extra attention. It contains Pro-Vitamin B5, vitamins A, C and E, algae extract, licorice extract, grapeseed extract and Ginkgo Biloba. This product also has a great consistency to it, not too thick and not too thin. It also sinks into your skin quickly, I love that this product doesn’t leave my hands feeling greasy. I noticed that I can wash my hands a few times after putting this on and my hands still feel soft and moisturized. It also has a light citrus scent to it, some may say it smells like sunblock but I actually like the smell. The only drawback I can see is the price tag, this product is a little spendy. I’m finding that a little goes a long way though, so a tube will last quite a while. I hijacked this product from my sister, let’s hope she doesn’t remember I have it.
I know that this product is not new but I want to go on the record as officially loving this product.
What I love about this perfume is it’s fresh scent, it reminds me of fresh cut flowers. It’s not overly floral, it features a middle note of sweet pea but it is very soft and does not overpower the rest of the notes. The top notes in this perfume are white sage and cucumber, this is the crispness that grabs and holds on to you. This perfume also features base notes of African musk and Tonka bean. I had no idea I would become so enamored with this combination. Notes aside, this perfume also wears very well. As a perfume oil, it gives you hours of this great, crisp scent. This perfume also comes in an
When I opened my package, I was extremely impressed with what I received. I received deluxe samples of quite a few products, in some cases full sized versions of the products. There was a great selection of products in different price ranges, from items you could find at your local drugstore to items you could find at your local Nordstrom’s. This program releases 4 tubes a year for $25 a tube and this quarter’s tube features samples of the of the following products:
