If there’s a product you’ve been eying, you may want to check it’s price. I was admiring Dior’s Night Diamond for about a month now but didn’t want to shell out the $80 to get it. When I saw it for $59, I told myself I needed it.

This limited edition palette was inspired by Bobbi at Fashion Week and it’s packed with 35 matte shadows including shades of pink, green, blue and purple. It’s tiny for a palette with so much in it! It all folds up into a cute little compact. All of the shades in this palette are new and they are such a treat to see from Bobbi Brown because the lines releases do not usually feature such bright color. Can you imagine all the looks you could do with this?

I played with this palette this past weekend and at first glance, I was little alarmed at how small each of the wells are. They are not much bigger than the circumference of a pencil but I was put at ease once I started swatching some of the shades on the backs of my hands. These eyeshadows are really rich in pigment so just a little will do the job. Besides, how else were they supposed to pack 35 shades into a palette this size?

• Get healthy! This one has been on my list forever. Not only does this mean quitting smoking (which I was so, so, so close to this year) and losing weight but to actually start taking care of myself emotionally and physically. I made some progress last year, I lost about 20lbs., joined a gym and quit smoking for a few months but all that progress has been undone. I’m thinking it may be time to start another fitness blog, some public accountability always helps.
• Get out of debt and save some money! My financial life is oh so messy. It didn’t hit me until recently just how bad I am with money so 2009 will be the year that I put a plan in place to start getting out of debt and try to save some money along the way. It is going to involve tightening my “belt” quite a bit but it will only help me in the end. In the last week I’ve spent a ton of money and I’m telling myself I won’t be spending money like that for a long time. At least I was smart enough to pick up the perfect red lipstick from Shu Uemura in my last big haul, it will pick me up when I’m down.
• Step up my Product Girl game! This blog is really important to me, I know it must not seem that way at times but this year I really want to change things up and see my baby grow. I’m going to do my best to keep Product Girl up to date and avoid these long lags I’ve had lately. I want to introduce new weekly features, bring the podcast back and introduce new writers to you so that there’s always something to see on Product Girl. If you catch me slipping, please feel free to call me on it.

This is a condensed version of my resolutions but they all resolve around these three topics. You get where I’m going, right? All this just to let you know that I’m committed to making Product Girl better. How about you? What are some of your resolutions? This palette is new and improved and you’re bound to use every part of it. What’s different in this palette is the addition of a bronzer, highlighter and 4 blushes. I love the change in this palette, it makes it a much more usable.

I’m normally a slow reader but since that weekend, I’ve spent all of my free time reading the series. I’m a little more than halfway through Breaking Dawn now and all I can think about at work is going home to read! I think it’s safe to say I’m officially obsessed with Twilight now. I’ve put the books aside long enough to see the movie a few times, browse some websites and begin obsessing over Robert Pattinson. I think I only like him in character though. I mean, how could you not? Look at this smile… After I’m done reading Breaking Dawn, I’m moving on to Midnight Sun but that’s not that long in comparison.

So the moral of this story is things will be back to normal here very soon. So bear with me, ok? Things will get back to normal soon and we’ll be resuming the rest of the giveaways on Monday, now extending into January to make up for the delay this new obsession has caused.
