Softsoap’s latest body wash, Nutri Serums, is attempting to bring high-end luxury to your shower at a more favorable price. High-end serums can do wonders for our face, and Softsoap designed a body wash to do the same for our bodies. Infused with nutrient-rich softening serum pearls, this body wash is intended to make your skin look and feel healthier.
There are two versions available, Restoring with Vitamin E (the green bottle) and Moisture Retaining with Omegas 3 & 6 (the purple bottle). I’ve been testing out the Restoring with Vitamin E. The bottle itself is very ergonomic, which matters to probably no one. But I appreciate a good shape. I’ve got tiny hands people! The formula is very thick, but not in a heavy way. When you put it on your skin it almost looks wet – but it certainly doesn’t feel watery. There’s no soapy residue, no dry feeling after you get out of the shower. I can’t say with any authority that the serums are making my skin look healthier but overall it feels nice.
The only thing I don’t quite like about this body wash is the smell. It’s not too overpowering but it has a slight dish soap aroma. It’s pretty slight but every now and then I get a whiff. I am curious about the other formula with Omegas 3 & 6, because I think this is a good product and would love it in a different scent. Can’t beat the price – $3.50 for a 15 oz bottle.

I doubt the special ingredients in these would have any effect on your skin because you don’t keep the body wash on your body as long as you would have a serum on your face. It all gets washed down the drain…so I never really pay attention to the marketing hype behind these kind of products!
I have a bottle of each of these body washes and I agree with you about the scent – I sort of feel like I’m washing with Softsoap hand soap. They’re inexpensive but I’d rather stick with my Philosophy body washes or hand made soaps I get from a fantastic seller on Etsy.
Yes, I agree… I don’t think this body serum is worth it… it’s expensive plus it’s not like it stays in your face overnight like a normal facial serum would…
