Revlon + Product Girl on the Burgundy Lip for Fall (+ giveaway!)

Once fall hits, I crave a deep lip. I can’t think of a better pairing with the crisp colorful leaves and cooler air, can you? Lucky for me (and you!), a burgundy pout is once again a fall beauty trend. Honestly, of all of the Revlon videos we’ve brought to you this year, the one we’re featuring this month is our absolute favorite. Revlon equipped us with a few products to show you how to wear a burgundy lip. No surprise, this look is all about the lip. The products I used in the video: include:

  • Revlon Super Lustrous™ Lipstick in Black Cherry (love this classic shade!)
  • Revlon® ColorStay™ Smoky Shadow Stick in Flare (lilac/smoky plum)
  • Revlon® ColorStay Overtime™ Lengthening Mascara (black)

Black Cherry is delicious — it looks like a deep brown burgundy in the tube but goes on much lighter on the lips. It can be more subtle if a slightly stained look is more your style. Or, layer it on and be bold! Make sure to click on the video above and check out how I wear it, along with the lilac side of Revlon Smoky Shadow Stick.

Because we love this product so much, we’re giving away 10 tubes of Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Black Cherry! Leave a comment on this post by Thursday, September 27 and let us know your thoughts on a burgundy lip for fall. We’ll pick 10 winners from there!

  1. I’m excited to try burgandy lips this fall. I love the bolder, darker colors of fall and Black Cherry is perfect for the upcoming season! I can’t wait to try it!

  2. Its obvious the burgundy lip has become a huge fall trend! It was all over NYFW. Typically I gravitate more toward reds (over a wine colored red) but would LOVE To give this a try! Laurie looks fab in it :-)

  3. I am loving the burgandy lip for fall! I can’t wait to pair with a black winged eye, contoured cheeks, a big cozy sweater, leggings, and black riding boots!

  4. Pretty! Haven’t tried it yet, but I just bought Too Faced Borderline which is supposed to prevent lipstick from feathering. This would be a great lip color to try it out with.

  5. I love, love, LOVE burgundy lips. It’s one of my very favorite looks and I would adore the opportunity to try this shade.

  6. I’m actually pretty excited about darker, more dramatic lips. I like my lips, and I also like to do a classic makeup look so it will be fun to emphasize one of my favorite features.

  7. I love a wine colored lip for Fall. I tend to favor red or nude lips the most, but there’s something so chic about wine lips and nails. I love the Revlon Super Lustrous lip colors in Blackberry and Fire & Ice, so I can’t wait to try Black Cherry!

  8. I have never had the opportunity to try Revlon’s black cherry but I would love to try this color. It is the best color for Fall and you do not have to wear it real dark but goes great with everything. I also like this type of colors because they make my teeth look whiter! Love to try this color and thanks for the opportunity and a chance to win!

  9. I really want to try the darker colors for fall – haven’t gotten any yet and this would be a great start! Thanks for the giveaway!

  10. I made the plunge with the orange lip trend this summer. After wearing orange lipstick, I think I’m finally brave enough to wear a dark lip like this for fall! Fingers crossed that I win!! P.s. I adore your blog! Keep up the great posts!

  11. I’ve totally fallen in love with the wine-colored lips of the season as well! Hoping to work up the courage to wear it out soon!

  12. I would love to try out a burgundy lip for fall. Many times, they don’t look good with my very fair skin, but I’m still trying to find the right shade. Maybe Black Cherry will be it! :) I’m also one to wear deep, earth-based colors when the weather starts to change, so this will work well with my change in wardrobe!
