OPI Glam Slam! France Collection

When I first heard of Serena Williams collaboration with OPI, I was a little dubious of what this collection would be like, it was around the time Bieber was in talks for his Nicole by OPI collection so I had a good reason. What I did not know then was that Serena Williams is actually a trained nail technician. I am really liking this collaboration, it has introduced shades that I am now obsessed with and others I am now trying to hunt down. Serena’s first collaboration was launched in conjunction with Australian Open in January and this part of it was launched last month for the French Open.

The Glam Slam! France collection features four shades; Spark de Triomphe paired with a White Shatter and Rally Pretty Pink paired with Red Shatter, each shade and Shatter sold as duos.

I am head over heels in love with Spark de Triomphe, it is such a gorgeous glitter. If a glitter polish could be elegant and rich, it would Spark de Triomphe. I am dying for my nails to grow back so I can wear this baby out. I’m strongly considering hunting down a back up, that is how serious I am about this shade. While it was meant to be paired with the White Shatter, I do not want to cover it up in any shape or form.

Just so you have a better idea of just how great this glitter is, I wanted to show you a more close-up image. Gorgeous, right?

I have the newest Serena Glam Slam collection swatched and ready to show you for next week’s Mani Monday. It has more glitter and purple, I am in love. If only I could find some sneak peeks of the Glam Slam US collaboration. These duos have me officially excited. How about you? Have you been following these releases? Which shades do you love?

  1. I saw Serena Williams on Oprah and couldn’t believe she actually went to school to become a nail technician. She just loves doing nails! The glitter one looks awesome and I like the purple one too.

  2. Hey so I found your site cause I bought press and peel nail polish at a discount store and googled it and I found this for some reason I could’t comment on your press and peel post so I thought id comment here. I wanted to let you know That it works great as a crackel polish I tried it on in the store (everyone does it) even to though its frowned upon and it did’t look right so I rubbed it and it gave it a crackel look and the best part is you get to pick were you want it to crackel so I thought I would share oh btw glad I found your site it rocks Thanks!!!!
