Beauty VIP of the Week: Mario Badescu Rolling Cream Peel with AHA

My skin has not been co-operating with me lately and I’ve been in a mad dash to try and calm it down as quickly as possible this week. I still needed to exfoliate though so I reached for the most gentle exfoliator I had on hand, Mario Badescu’s Rolling Cream Peel with AHA.

It’s super easy to use and doesn’t require any water. You just take a small amount and apply it to your face in a thin layer, wait about a minute then you gently roll the product off of your face. I had to admit, I didn’t go with a thin layer of product… I’m the type of gal that likes to put glue on her fingers just to peel it off. It’s weird, I know but I enjoy it. Using this peel was just more of the same thing. It does not come off in one or a few pieces but it does roll off easily forming little balls. It can be a little messy though so you’ll want to have something catch the fall out. I actually kind of like seeing the fall out, it makes me feel like I did something worthwhile for my skin. ;)

The aftermath is just smoother skin without any harsh granules or abrasiveness. I haven’t experienced any reactions and so far, I’m pretty happy with this. I just follow it up with a toner and moisturizer. The crazy part is that I picked this product up months and months ago during a trip to Canada and just started using it a couple weeks ago. Sometimes gems get lost in my beauty stash but I’m glad I was able to find this!

  1. Sounds great…I’ll put it on my to try list. Always on the look out for non abbravise exfoliation. Peeling cream are popular in Asian but not so much in Western brand so I am glad MB is making this.
