Current Obsession: MAC Joie de Vivre Cremeblend Blush

I was pretty much sold on the MAC in Lillyland collection the instant I saw the Cremeblend Blushes. I knew they had potential to be amazing and decided to go investigate last week when the collection hit counters. And let me tell you, these blushes do not disappoint, especially Joie de Vivre!

Joie de Vivre is a pinky coral that I can see flattering every skin tone. On my fair skin, it’s a welcoming pop of color that brightens my entire complexion. The texture on these are not slippery or oily in any way and are a dream to work with. They are not as bold as pictured in the pan, but aren’t weak on pigment either. When blended with fingers, it’s a more subtle application that can be built up. When used with a brush - I’ve tried with both the MAC 188 and Sonia Kashuk’s Flat Blusher Brush – it blends into the skin seamlessly. I especially like using the denser Sonia Kashuk brush.

I’ve been wearing this blush every day since I bought it! I’m obsessed and majorly lusting after the other shades now as a result. Anyone else check these out? Sharing the obsession? Let us know your thoughts.

I totally agree with your assessment of the new Cremeblend blushes. I absolutely love the one I got in So Sweet, So Easy! It’s beautiful, not too heavy, and the consistency is really great. I’m contemplating going back for Joie de Vivre now!

i bought this exact blush for my nw20 skin. its gorgeous. thank heavens its not as bright on the skin as in pan… but it applies and does give that burst of color to my complexion. i love love love love this blush.

Aw, I stopped by my MAC counter today and ended up buying the Off the Page orange eyeshadow … now I wish I had given this blush a chance … oh well, there’s always next time

I got Florida and So Sweet, So Easy cremeblend blushes and I”m totally in love. I’ve always just bought powder blushes but I’m glad I gave these a try. Florida is absolutely gorgeous and has quickly become one of my favorite blushes.
