Cult of Cherries

Last week we played catch up and told you all about MAC recent releases but we saved the best for last. Out of all of the collections I’ve read about this one recently, MAC’s Cult of Cherries collection has got to be the one I’m looking forward to the most. Why? Because I love cherries. It’s not really the taste but the look of a cherry that I love. Every time someone gives me a gift, I kid you not, it’s got a cherry on it.

MAC Cosmetics Cult of Cherries collection When I saw the images for this collection with the cherries on the top and the cherry earrings (I would die for those earrings by the way, anyone want to send me a pair?), I knew that I would love this collection.

MAC Cosmetics Cult of Cherries collection features some limited edition gems along with some repromotes. There are 5 lipsticks, 5 glosses, the return of my beloved Mattenne lipsticks with 5 shades, 2 blushes, 3 eyeshadow quads, 2 blushes and 2 nail colors. This collection features some old favorites like Russian Red and “O” lipsticks but also introduces some darker colors like So Scarlet that really play into a big trend for fall; the bold, dark lip.

MAC Cosmetics Cult of Cherries collection

What’s going on your wishlist? I already know I’ll be lusting after the Mattene lipsticks, I’m a sucker for a matte lipstick and these rich colors are insanely hot. I’m happy to see “O” featured in this collection, it’s one of my favorite lipsticks of all time and I’m glad to see it’s finally getting the attention it so rightly deserves.

Check back with us once this collection is released, will be giving away some Cult of Cherries goodness!

My favourite would definitely have to be the Spiced Chocolate quad…but then again I’m a sucker for neutral coloured eyeshadows.

By the way, have you checked out these earrings?

They’re not exactly the same, but they’re pretty close!

  2. Erica says:

I’m happy that MAC is back with the quads. It looks like I’m going to have to purchase all of them!

  3. Sue says:

I think I am the only woman on the planet that this collection has done nothing for. I went and tried it and went “eh”. I feel like a bad mac addict. :-(

Cult of Cherry lipglass and Blooming blush are the standouts for me.
