Last Minute Mother's Day Gift Ideas

You’ve probably guessed by now that I’m very much the last minute shopper when it comes to gifts. For Mother’s Day this year, I have some last minute gift ideas that I would give my own mother. Except I’m not telling you what I got my mother, she might be reading! 😉

I have to tell you, I feel a little guilty that my mother has a beauty blogger for a daughter and she has yet to use a Clarisonic so I’ve been debating getting her one just because. This is the one I’ve been thinking about giving her. Isn’t this Clarisonic Mia in Tangerine adorable? I am smitten. This set makes a fantastic gift. It comes with a normal and sensitive brush head, Clarisonic’s Gentle Hydro Cleanser and charge in a floral print bag that is perfect for spring and Mother’s Day. This set retails for $149.00.

The Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Mother’s Day set is a floral explosion, but in a good way. This fragrance has notes of pepper, violet leaves, violet, cedar wood, patchouli and vetiver. This set includes an eau de parfum (2.5 oz.), body lotion and shower gel (1.7 oz. each) plus a rollerball (0.34 oz.) for $118. I would be really tempted to swipe the rollerball perfume in this set for myself!

Laurie says Birchbox is the gift that keeps on giving and I couldn’t agree more, we’re big Birchbox fans here at Product Girl. In case you’re not familiar with Birchbox, it’s a box filled with new deluxe beauty samples sent right to your home each month for only $10. We covered it last year so you can see what’s included in a typical box. Is it worth $10? Absolutely! You can give the gift of Birchbox in 1 year, 6 month and 3 month increments. Your momma will think of you every time she opens her latest box of Birchbox goodies.

My mother does not have basics when it comes to nails, which is a shame because her nails are to die for. I like to tell her that I got the short end of the stick when it comes to nails in our family. This Deborah Lippmann Start Me Up Set would be a great way to make sure she has all her nail essentials. It retails for $44 and includes a Smooth Operator nail buffer file, cuticle oil, cuticle remover, Rehydrating Base Coat, On a Clear Day Topcoat, Two-Second Nail Primer and Nail Lacquer in Baby Love, a sweet baby pink. If you’re mother is not afraid of a little color, Deborah’s new Girls Just Want to Have Fun coral shade would be a great addition to the set.

Have you taken care of your Mother’s Day shopping yet? What did you get your mother? I want to hear all about it.
