Lancome’s New Piha Red Noir Set

In November, Lancome is coming out with a set that will help all of us be a little bit trendier, well only some of us. If you’ve seen the dark, almost gothic lip trend floating around but thought it was something you couldn’t pull off, now there’s hope.

Lancome is introducing a low pigment black gloss that can be worn alone or blended with other shades. Lancome’s Color Fever Gloss in Piha Black is part of a set created by Lancome’s new artistic director Aaron de Mey that also contains a Color Fever Lipstick in Piha Red. This set is inspired by the red on a Christian Louboutin sole and Piha is the name of the beach near Aaron’s childhood home in New Zealand. This set will retail for $48 if you’re one of the lucky ones to be able to pick this up.

So what’s the catch? Only 500 of the sets will be available in the United States, exclusively at the Bloomingdale’s 59th Street location, Lancome’s website and their five Lancome boutiques. The waiting list at Bloomingdale’s 59th Street has just opened up (call 212-705-2886 to add your name) but otherwise you will need to wait awhile. In the meantime, check out the results:

These lips are insanely hot and I am already lusting after this gloss but I am a little dissapointed in the way Lancome is choosing to release this set though. These extremely limited edition products don’t often make their way to Seattle and I’m not the online shopping kind so I doubt I’ll be able to get my hands on this set but that’s ok.
