Klorane’s Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk

I’m sort of new to the whole dry shampoo thing, I have not been using them since the dawn of time like everyone else and their mom. I’ve used them here and there for a bit but it wasn’t until this year that I started using them more consistently. Anything to help save time in the morning, right?

klorane-gentle-dry-shampoo-with-oat-milk Now I found a dry shampoo that really works for me and I’m not giving it up, Klorane’s Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk has changed the way I look at dry shampoo forever. This was the product used on the set of Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette so now I think of Kirsten Dunst’s hair in the movie every time I use this product… with the soundtrack playing in my head. :)

I’ve tried quite a few of them and they have not worked as well as I had hoped or irritated my scalp. With Klorane’s Gentle Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk, I’m free to use it as much as I want because it won’t irritate my scalp. When you spray the product on and let it sit for a few minutes, it leaves your hair powdery white. While I spend a little more time with this making sure it doesn’t look like I dredged my head in flour, the time spent is well worth it.

This product performs pretty well. When I used different dry shampoos, the norm was that my hair looked good during the first part of the day but by in the afternoon, all the magical oil absorbing powers were used up. Not the case here at all…I can use this product and know for sure that my roots will not be oily by the end of the day.

What’s your favorite dry shampoo? Have you tried this one? Let us know in the comments.

I’m new to the dry shampoo thing too. My scalp gets very irritated and greasy. I also have to be very careful about which shampoos and styling products I use. Choose poorly and I get the dreaded greasy dandruff itchies. This stuff didn’t seem terribly promising when I first sprayed it on my head. My scalp was already pretty aggravated and oily. It didn’t seem to help. Left it on for 2 minutes, as directed, then brushed out. After 5 minutes, my scalp started feeling better. Much better. By the end of the day – no oil and I didn’t feel like I had to race into the shower to shampoo it out. Big fan of this stuff.

Love your blog. Keep up the excellent work!

My favorite dry shampoo is Ojon Rub Out Cleanser.

  4. Wow, okay, I have to get this. I am the perfect candidate since even 1 day without washing my hair leaves it super oily and ugly. Thanks for finding a good dry shampoo.

Also, I’m loving the new look of the website. :)

Trisha, my hair is the same way, that’s why I love this so much. And thanks for the compliment! It was a long time in the making.

I use Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo & I love it. I have curly hair which I straighten so I wash my hair every 2-3 days. It helps with product build-up & leaves my looking & smelling clean & shiny.
It comes in powder form & has a fresh lemon fragrance, definitely reminds me of Lemon Verbena.
If you color your hair this is a great product to get rid of the dreaded hair color smell.

Hi Dina! I really loved the smell of that one and that’s a great idea to use this to cover up the smell! For me it, caused some flakiness so I backed off of it but for less sensitive scalps, I’m sure it’s great.
