Kate Winslet + Lancome Golden Globes Beauty

Kate Winslet is such a classic beauty. She always looks sophisticated and flawless. Avon Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey was responsible for Kate’s Golden Globes beauty look, and went for shimmering and soft eyes with touches of rose on the cheeks and lips.

What we love most about the look is her flawless skin and barely there, pinky rose lip. We got the deets on Kate’s look, and she is wearing the NEW, available in March, Lancome Teint Idole 24H Foundation. Both Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra and Teint Miracle are A+ foundations in our books, so we can’t wait to find out more about a 24H version (not that we’d EVER wear it that long).

Kate is also wearing Lancome’s new Rouge in Love Lipstick in the shade Delicate Lace. Rouge in Love launches next month, and is supposedly the brand’s longest wearing lipstick yet. We are all over that silver case, and by the “true to tube” color promise. In a fun twist, the 21 shades in this collection are also organized by “mood.”   Three collections, 21 shades, all inspired by different times of day:

  • Jolis Matins: A nod to the early morning, these natural shades adorn lips with a hint of tone-on-tone particles.
  •  Boudoir Time: Inspired by special moments with friends in the late afternoon, these punchy shades are electrified by contrasting pearl particles.
  • Tonight Is My Night: A night filled with promise and twinkling city lights is what inspired these intense shades infused with golden pearl particles.

I have a feeling the “Jolis Matins” natural colors, like Delicate Lace, will be great every day shades. But, we want to see the SEXY TIME shades! Or, as they’re officially referred to, Boudoir Time. Bet they’ll be perfect for spring.
