Pure Pressed Minerals

I’ve been using mineral makeup for almost the last two years and one of my biggest frustrations with it has been the mess it makes and how inconvenient it is to take with me in my purse or while traveling. The powder usually goes all over and by the time I arrive at my destination I am dipping my brush into much more than the recommended amount for application.

I like that it provides great coverage, has a wide range of colors, and is a snap to apply. I love that I can travel with this base – no more messy powder all over my makeup bag or hotel vanity. Plus it’s so natural – no oil, talc, FD&C dyes or parabens. So far the only drawbacks I can see are that it isn’t the simplest to get in my area (only sold at select high end salons, doctors offices and boutiques) – but you can buy it online – and it’s a bit pricey at $48 compared to my old mineral makeup that sells for $35. However – for the convenience and quality it’s worth it!

  1. My name is Lucy Moore and I am with the public relations agency GolinHarris in Los Angeles. We work with a company called Therative who has just introduced a new acne fighting device called ThermaClear (www.thermaclear.com). (I wouldn’t normally be using the comment section but I couldn’t find an email address for your site.) I’m contacting you because I’ve read and love product girl and I thought you might be interested in learning about this innovative product.
ThermaClear is an FDA-cleared hand-held device that heals pimples two to four times faster. You apply the tip of the device directly to your skin and it delivers a controlled burst of heat that neutralizes the bacteria causing the pimple. It only takes two seconds twice a day, and it shortens the life of the pimple.
If you’re interested in learning more and/or sampling ThermaClear, please contact me at the email or number below. I hope to hear from you.
    Many thanks!
