It’s Official, I’m Obsessed with Twilight

I swear, I have good intentions when I say things here… I really, really do. I intend to do the things I say but then life gets in the way. :) Something happened over Thanksgiving weekend though, I got some news that was a little unpleasant so I decided to distract myself and my distraction was reading Twilight. Oh my god, this one hell of a distraction!

Twilight: Edward's Crooked SmileI’m normally a slow reader but since that weekend, I’ve spent all of my free time reading the series. I’m a little more than halfway through Breaking Dawn now and all I can think about at work is going home to read! I think it’s safe to say I’m officially obsessed with Twilight now. I’ve put the books aside long enough to see the movie a few times, browse some websites and begin obsessing over Robert Pattinson. I think I only like him in character though. I mean, how could you not? Look at this smile… After I’m done reading Breaking Dawn, I’m moving on to Midnight Sun but that’s not that long in comparison. ;)

So the moral of this story is things will be back to normal here very soon. So bear with me, ok? :) Things will get back to normal soon and we’ll be resuming the rest of the giveaways on Monday, now extending into January to make up for the delay this new obsession has caused. Anyone else obsessed with Twilight? Let’s obsess together. :)

  1. Holy, I thought that was just me.
I am not kidding; I am amazed by the books; movies and the characters.
The name says it, “My life revolves around Twilight”
I cannot believe how obbsesed I would get over this; I never thought in a million years I would. I’ve seen the movie 8 times and I’m going on the 9th time tonight.
How could Stephanie Meyer make such an outstanding novel? Shes very talented.
I seriously go on youtube and waste 7 hours of my day looking up things related to Twilight.
Its Christmas; and all I think about is Twilight. I dont even speak of Christmas because I’m so into the novels and movie. New moon comes out in 2009 or 2010? I cannot wait that long. Seriously. I need to start a book club.
Chaio and Merry Christmas… or Merry Twilight.

i adore the books. Twilight and Eclipse were by far the best from the series. go team edward! saw the movie twice and if given the opportunity, would probably see it again…the 2nd time sucked – i had the day off from work and figured i would see the movie in the late morning thinking there would be no one in the theater but myself, and i would be free to enjoy it peacefully without the giggles of teens…i was wrong…a private school had let out early and what’s worse than giggling teens? teens who knew nothing about Twilight and would all too often whisper to each other “what?!” “i don’t get it.” pick up the goddamn book! it was so bad, the usher had to come into the theater and give them “the look”. it was slightly better after, but by then, the movie had reached the climax and my Twilight-movie-going experience was ruined.

I read all 4 books in 2 weeks, the whole time not being able to put them down! I have to keep reminding myself that Edward and his vampire world isn’t real! They are all very addicting, even the movie! I’ve seen that 3 times already :)

I understand you 100%. I can’t seem to put the book down. I got it at Christmas, and I am struggling not to read the 3rd book! I don’t want to mess up the suspense in the movie either, but it breaks my heart not to read it when it’s right beside me! It took me 2 days reading the 1rst, 3 for the second and I don’t want to continue like this! I want to take my time, because usually I am a slow reader as I never really read books before. I found THE book I could say. The obsession is just as bad- or hurts as much as the movie! I can’t help it, and cannot seem to go threw my day without the book! It’s makes me realise how my life sucks compared to the book, and it’s depressing to think they will never be a guy like Edward Cullen. I DID fall in love with the character. I really need to find something else to do, because I do not want to finish all the books in a week! It’s will break my heart to think it’s over after the 4th book. They might not be Midnight sun, but it’s will still not be from Bella’s point of view, it will be of Edward’s. I wish Stephenie Meyer would never stop making the books, I want to continue and know about their future! It’s seems like none of my friends are as obsessed as me, and I really need someone to talk about it! After the movie, I felt the same way and the feeling didn’t go away for around 2 weeks (I casually went on YouTube for Twilight parts, and I still do) and I am not sure if I want that feeling to go, or not! I love Twilight but it breaks my heart! I will have my sister hide the Eclipse and Breaking dawn for me, as I don’t want to finish them too quickly, and I will re-read the first two books, really getting into the details once more. If anyone would like to talk about Twilight more, I really would like it. :)

And if you guys have any other book suggestions I would appreciate too!
