A Tex-ified GCB Beauty Kit Giveaway

A few things I’ll always love: big hair and television. My DVR is the hardest working electronic in my house, and it will be adding ABC’s new Texas-inspired show GCB to its roster. It’s Texas, so GCB is about big hair and larger than life everything. Premiering Sunday, March 4, at 10 p.m. est. (in Pan Am’s time slot), GCB starts with high school “mean girl” Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb) being forced to return home to Dallas in disgrace after her marriage ends in scandal. The problem is that Amanda is nothing like the girl she was 20 years ago and is hesitant about re-entering this world of opulence, status and salacious rumor mills. She is hopeful for a new start, but soon finds it’s not that easy to escape your past in this tightknit community.

To get in the Texas spirit, we have a special GCB Beauty Kit* to give away to one (1) Product Girl reader. The kit includes:

  • Nail Polish
  • Tweezerman Nail File
  • Dual Lip Gloss
  • Big Lash Mascara
  • Faux Eyelashes
  • Minimergency Kit
  • Mini Designer Perfume

To enter to win, watch the GCB preview below (or here) and leave us a comment with your thoughts! Will you watch? We’ll pick one winner on the day of the premiere, Sunday, March 4.

*Prize pack valued at $55; Prizing courtesy of ABC

**GIVEAWAY CLOSED. Congrats to Kristin, winner of the GCB Beauty Bag!

***For more ways to win GCB prizes, visit www.GCBConfessions.com through March 15 and tweet #GCB to unlock exclusive content and be entered for a chance to win.

  1. #1 “She is dressed like a migrant worker.”

#2 ad-libbibg….”Ladies, it’s not polite to talk about something like this (death & fellatio) on the phone (pause), “I’ll see you at church.”

I will be watching. reminds me of Mean Girls and Desperate Housewives with big hair and “Texas” makeup.

  2. #1- I LOVE Kristen Chenoweth. This looks completely hilarious.
#2- Sadly I know people just like this, and I don’t live in Texas.
I can’t wait to see this show!

  3. As a Texas girl, I always hate to see the Texas stereotypes. But, they are stereotypes for a reason! Love the cast and look forward to checking out the show! I do love to have a bank of just-for-fun, trashy TV shows to watch, and this might fit the bill.

  4. I need to start watching more “girly” T.V. ( I have a son, a brother and a husband. Lot’s of testosterone!) and I have loved Leslie Bibbs since “Popular”.

  5. That clip looked less funny than the ads on TV. It doesn’t look great to me and I don’t really like Leslie Bibb, but it has Annie Potts and Kristin Chenoweth and I’ll give it a try because I love both of them.

  6. Glad I watched this – I hadn’t heard of it until now! Looks like I’ll have to squeeze this show in too!

  7. Every time I see the commercial for this show it looks more and more funny …I always love seeing Southerners being portrayed as slightly crazy xD

  8. I’ll be watching for sure. The preview looks funny and I’m from Oklahoma so I think I’ll identify with some of the characters!

    Thanks for the great giveaway!!!

  9. I can’t wait to see this show! Annie Potts and Kristin Chenoweth are two of my favorites!
I love the line “God often speaks to me through Christian Dior!”

  10. Hello guys!
So, about the GCB preview I loved it! I really like this serie.
Hope to see it next 4th 🙂

So, now I am crossinf my fingers! Wish me luck!

  11. Cant wait till March this looks like a must see and has some of my favorite actresses! Annie Potts character looks like she is a firecracker!

  12. I Will Watch as It looks entertaining . I like thé stars in It .thank you for The opportunity to win thé products . They look Very enticing

  13. I live in Dallas- so I am looking forward to seeing how they portray our fair city. And I bet some of the things that really happen in Dallas? They will make this show look like child’s play. 🙂

  14. I am embarrassed to admit this but I love shows like this where people seem prim and proper on the outside but immediately after everyone’s gone, they start badmouthing people and gossiping. I love the fact that this ex “popular Chick” who came back to live with her mother actually grew up and became a nice person whereas it seems all the other girls still live their lives the way they did in High School. They haven’t been able to overcome their high school experiences and continue to live in the past, which is quite sad. Their exteriors might have charged but their behavior is still juvenile as if back in high school. I think there will be many laughs in this show. It will either be really fun or really nasty and uncomfortable to watch. Either way, I will be checking it out and my intuition tells me I’m gonna get hooked on this show.

Thank you for the opportunity to possibly win this wonderful giveaway. Good luck to all.

  15. I rarely watch TV – I stream everything but sports. So when I saw the preview Sunday for GCB I laughed and said what a perfect, light and catty show! I will be tuning in and catch the shows I miss – commercial free – on Hulu.

  16. Wow! Thanks for this great opportunity!
I LOVE Kristin Chenoweth!!! She’s so sweet and funny I will definitly take a look at this show, hope it will be good 🙂

  17. Are you kidding? Big hair – I’m there! DVR is set. So glad to see Annie Potts on TV again – and Kristin Chenoweth is hilarious! Cant’ wait!!

  18. I’ll be watching. It looks like fun! It usually takes one episode to tell whether I’ll stick with a show or not. I like the actors in this one too 🙂

  19. Ah looks good! i was not sure at first but after the preview yes I will be watching! Just another show to add to my DVR list which is filled to the brim!

  20. I think this show can bring a bad image to christian women all over world. I am not sure if I am going to watch though.

  21. I will watch because Kristin Chenoweth is in it. Every show she has been in I have liked, especially Pushing Daisies. I would also like to win your fabulous giveaway.

  22. This show is so reminiscent of the community I grew up in. There were defintely some GCB around my town. And it looks hilarious! I adore Kristin Chenoweth and am excited to see her back in a constant role after Pushing Daisies. I’ve also loved Jennifer Aspen since Popular on the WB (do any of you remember that show, it was great), so overall totes excited!!

Thanks for the giveaway; this is just what you need if you want to be a GCB ; )

  23. Ooh, I love over-the-top mean girl drama! I can’t wait to see this premiere! I may have to get myself some pink bling encrusted binoculars.

  24. So excited about this show! I’m from Oklahoma, so the material should be easy for me to relate. 🙂

  25. Can’t wait – So sad Des. Housewives is going away – now we have something to replace it.

  26. Another show, that looks great, which I will not be able to see because I live in Belgium… :-/
