Eucerin Professional Repair + Giveaway

The perfect time to test a new body lotion is most definitely when temperatures fluctuate in a matter of days by 40 degrees. Or the “pneumonia front” we experienced in Chicago a few weeks ago where the temp dropped by 25 degrees in just minutes. Definitely situations that have my skin begging for stability.

Enter Eucerin Professional Repair, a new innovation in lotion for extremely dry skin. Eucerin designed this to improve the condition of skin by combining your skin’s own natural moisturizers, Ceramide-3, and Gluco-Gylcerol, a  breakthrough ingredient which improves moisture reserves in the skin. Think of it as like your own personal watershed. I love it because while it intensely moisturizes it does so in the lightest way.

And, for the fun news, I have a Eucerin Professional Repair Tool Kit to give away! The tool kit has everything you need to get ready for spring.

  • Eucerin Professional Repair

  1. I use Aquaphor (by Eucerin) every night before bed! I put it under my eyes, on my lips, and on my elbows! When I wake up, everything that was touched by Aquaphor is silky smooth. The best part – the price tag! Aquaphor is much more reasonable than the high-priced moisturizers and works better, IMO! I’d love to try the Eucerin Professional Repair!

  2. While battling with acne in college, I tried the entire gamut of acne products that contained some percentage of salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. None of these made my acne better, and if they did, they dried my skin out terribly. These past few years I’ve been trying a more natural approach to my skin – I use raw African black soap twice a day with a regular Neutrogena moisturizer that contains SPF. My skin has never been better! Keep it simple is now my motto.

  3. I keep my super dry/fair skin healthy and hydrated by using a cleansing water once a day at night, using an unfragranced mild exfoliator and an emolient unfragranced moisturizer/sunscreen. Makeup removal is key along with drinking lots of water and staying away from skincare with fragrances and perfumes in them.

  4. To cleanse and soften my face at night, I started using Ponds cold cream. Instead of splashing water on my face, I remove the cold cream with a damp wash cloth. It removes dirt and makeup while keeping my face hydrated. I finish it off with a Ponds overnight cream and I wake up with super soft skin. Ponds sounds very old school, but I love it! Thanks Grandma!

  5. My skin tip is also aquaphor! I love the stuff on my lips. For my face, I use philosophy microdelivery peel pads once a week and then moisturizer afterwards to keep my skin bright and hydrated. Would love to try Eucerin professional repair!

  6. Aquaphor. I know I am not the first to mention it and I won’t be the last. It is amazing and magical and you can pretty much use it for anything and everything!

  7. I have hypersensitive and extremely dry fair skin. To keep it glowing I drink lots of water. We’ve all heard that trick before but I try to not only drink water but eats foods that contain a lot of water, like apples and grapes to continue the hydration with added vitamin benefits. To prevent aging and discoloration I wear sunscreen every day, never intentionally tan, always take my makeup off before bed and moisterize-moisterize-moisterize! To prevent rashes and keep my roseacia at bay I use products consistently and when I want to change a product I do it one at a time and slowly incorporate it into my routine.

  8. I apply Auquaphor advanced treatment for my dry skin every night before going to bed. It’s great because its gentle on my sensitive skin while still being effective. I use it on my lips and even on my heels. It really helps to but it on my heels then put my socks on when I go to bed. In the morning my heels are so smooth! Try it and you’ll thank me later!!

  9. For hydrated cuticles, I use the Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail & Cuticle Oil. Apply, rub in, and wipe off (you can leave it on for longer if you’d like). Then I apply my fav hand lotion at the moment to lock in the hydration!

  10. I’m a big fan of the Asian scrub towels for the body. My preference would be to go to the Korean spa once a month for a professional scrub. It’s amazing all of the dead skin that comes off!! After the scrub a good dose of lotion!

  11. The best thing you can do for your skin is drink lots of water !

One of my “rituals” is giving myself an aspirin mask every week. I mix 5 uncoated aspirins, warm water, and half a teaspoon of honey. I let it set on my face for 10 minutes, then wash it off. Not only has it kept acne at bay, but it exfoliates my face and has smoothed out wrinkles.

  12. well, my tip may be a no-brainer for most, but it’s changed my life! i keep my body lotion in the shower and i apply it to my damp skin before getting out of the shower.

  13. to keep your hands looking nice, at bed time, rub in cuticle oil to your nails and seal it in with hand cream!

  14. I am bad about applying lotion but when I do apply it every day (after showering) I really can notice a difference in my skin.

  15. My eye lids are always super dry and flakey. So to keep them soft, after I wash my face and apply moisturizer ( Garnier 3 Way Cleanser and Garnier Moisturizer Rescue SPF 15 Lotion) I add a layer of vaseline on the lid and crease and just under my eyes along the lashes before bed. I wake up with the smoothest eye lids ever!

  16. I use a deep cleansing oil to remove makeup, and then a foaming cleanser, followed by an oil-based balm. My dry, acne prone skin actually loves oil, which keeps it soft, hydrated, and clear.

  17. One of my favorite beauty secrets is an all natural honey mask. It’s really simple and leaves your face feeling so soft! All you have to do is warm some organic honey (not too hot) and cover your face with it. (I usually use a makeup brush, so my hands don’t get super sticky.) I leave it on for about 15 minutes and then wash it off. I’m not sure what the honey does, but this mask always leaves me feeling really relaxed and refreshed! Also, Aquaphor really saves your skin’s life if you swim a lot. My sister is a springboard diver, and she let me in on that secret; now I use it all winter!

  18. I’ve switched from bar soaps to liquid body washes for showering, which seem to be more moisturizing and less drying.

  19. Drink tons of water and always leave my skin wet before I put on my body creme and I mist my face all the time w/several different facial mists -Jurlique/Caudalie/MAC/Body Shop/Evian – I try them all & really think that helps keep my face looking hydrated.

  20. Keep your lotion close at hand so you can lather up after a shower. Keep it visible so you are reminded when you see it !

  21. I drink lots of water and moisturize my skin with Shea butter and aloe, it works wonders for me. Have a blessed day and thanks for this giveaway

  22. My skin tip is to keep my favorite hand cream on my desk at work. That way when I see the bottle it reminds me to put some on. I do the same for my cuticle oil in the car. When I’m stopped at a light in traffic I put some on.

  23. Use a good moisturizing lotion (like Eucerin) after your shower. It helps keep sensitive skin like mine from drying out anf itching.

  24. rub honey on your heels and soak feet then when you finish rub with Euceren and oh baby you hve soft heels and feet!

  25. rub honey on your heels and soak feet then when you finish rub with Euceren and oh baby you hve soft heels and feet!

  26. Always put your skin lotion/cream on immediately after showering or bathing so it can soak it while the pores are open!

  27. To help keep feet moisturized and beautiful: before bed, rub feet with a generous amount of lotion and put socks on. This keeps the moisture in to soak into your feet, they’ll be baby soft by morning!

  28. I keep my skin hydrated by drinking lots of water daily, and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. I also put on lotion that has an spf in it to make sure it stays safe from the rays. I put on a night cream as well to stay moisturized throughout the night.

  29. I keep my skin healthy and hydrated by keeping a healthy diet, drinking lots of water and using lotions to when my skin feels dry. Thanks!

  30. For dry cracked heels, rub the inside of a banana peel on your heels and watch the dry skin disappear!

  31. I have used Eucerin for years for dry skin and my dermatitis on my face. I use the one with sun protection in the months when we do actually have sunshine. I think it’s a great product and encourage others to try it.

  32. I use a sugar scrub to exfoliate a couple of times a week, and moisturize with Eucerin as soon as I step out of the shower! 🙂

  33. I like to use very gentle facial quality cleansing bars or liquid to wash my entire body especially in the winter. My skin is so much happier and my heels aren’t standing in harsh soapy water at the bottom of the shower so they stay soft too.

  34. After washin your hands with soap and water lightly dry them, and then apply lotion over them after your done washing. Gives your hands a very light soft feeling so your hand soap won’t dry your hands out. 🙂

  35. My skin tip is simply wash with gentle washes, scrub to remove old skin and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize..use SPF for the day and for the face, wash every morning and every night, SPF and moisturize!

  36. I keep small tubes of my Eucerin in my pocketbook, car, desk and make-up case so I can keep my hands soft and smooth any time I what. I love the way it makes my hands feel, powdery soft, not greasy and sticky like some other lotions.

  37. Hi,
After I shower, I wait a few minutes after I’m somewhat dry. I’ll quickly put deodorant on, brush my teeth, etc, then lotion up, and get dressed. I have very dry skin, so sometimes I have to lotion later on in the day too..

  38. We only take warm showers, not hot, I think this is key. Apply lotion while skin is still wet and also reapply lotion at bed time. Of course drinking a lot of water throughout the day. Good for your skin and the rest of your body.

  39. I keep my skin healthy by drinking plenty of water, eating fruits and vegetables and exercising! I also moisturize my feet and put cotton socks on to keep my heels smooth and soft. Putting the correct nutrients in my body is paying off by my skin being so soft and smooth!

  40. use petroleum jelly on your hands and feet then put a pair of socks on your hands and feet at bed time for dry cracked hands and feet.

  41. Use a dry loofah on your skin before getting in the shower, then moisturize after while your skin is still wet to seal in moisture. The dry loofah trick not only does an excellent job of exfoliating, I have heard that it also helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite! Juries still out on this one, but I’ll let you know if it works!

  42. I best beauty tip is keeping your skin hydrated with lotion after you take a shower. I make sure on work on my elbows and other dry spots. When I’m in the shower, I usually use a pumice stone on my heels and after my shower II also put lotion on my heels and it’s great in btw pedicures.

  43. To keep my feet nice and smooth, I use Eucerin Intensive Repair Creme before I put on my socks for the day. My heels have never felt so soft before. I have used “foot creams” before and have never had the results that I have now.

  44. I take fast lukewarm showers then apply moisturizer while my skin is still somewhat damp to “lock” in moisture.

  45. Taking lukewarm showers instead of hot is better for the skin it won’t dry out as easily. Pat dry instead of rubbing the towel on your skin, then use your eucerin cream

  46. To help keep moisture in skin, after showering pat yourself dry leaving skin damp. Then apply moisturizer to skin and drink plenty of water. My favorite product is Eucerin Professional Repair….I have extremely dry, flaky skin and this product has stopped my problem. My skin now looks smooth and soft. THANKS Eucerin for this most wonderful product.

  47. I make sure to drink lots of water daily to keep my skin hydrated. I also take cool showers & use moisturizing cream afterwards.

  48. To keep my skin blemish free, I use a gentle blemish control scrub from St. Ives every night before I go to sleep.

  49. WITH THE HARSH WINTER WEATHER, WE ALL NEED TO BABY OUR LIPS. THEY ARE FRONT AND FOWARD THROUGH WIND, SNOW AND CHILLY WEATHER!! 50. I always use Eucerin lotion directly after washing and drying my hands. It seals in the moisture and keeps my hands soft.

  51. How do you keep your skin healthy and hydrated? Feet, hands, etc?

I keep my skin healthy and hydrated by first eating healthy and drinking lots of liquids. Starting from the inside is an important aspect of beautiful skin. Then after showering and exfoliating, I use the Eucerin Daily Replenishing Lotion all over my arms and legs, including my hands and feet of course!

  52. Eucerin Daily Replenishing Lotion applied after toweling off from the shower then multiple times during the day to my hands (I keep travel size in my purse, diaper bag, and car) is just what my skin needs to stay hydrated in the high altitude, cold climate of Colorado.

  53. After showering one of the first things I do for my skin is put lotion on. For my feet I like to put socks on after apply on lotion even if I’m not wearing socks that day. I don’t like getting lotion on the carpet or floor and the socks help. After I’m ready to leave the house I remove the socks if I wasn’t planning on wearing socks and put on my shoes.

  54. You guys are definitely missing a marvelous part of Eucerin, I am a very mature man who gets irritated from the perspiration under shorts area. Eucerin works like magic, and that is when nothing else works to get the irritation under control. I know it is probably not a subject you can publicize, but you surely have to know about it. Thank you for that.

  55. Healthy skin begins with the recommended 8 glasses of water per day. Applying Eucerin Intensive Repair lotion after showering and before bed will also help to lock in moisture.

  56. To keep my skin soft, I apply a generous amount on my skin when it’s damp from taking a shower. I apply more lotion before I go to bed, including using True Blue Foot Cream on my feet.

  57. I use EDRL after my morning shower then at night I use their aquaphor on the lower half of my legs and ony feet. Then I put on my knee high socks and go to bed. My husband loves it because he says I look like a cheerleader. Yeah, well, I never was one :p.

  58. I like to apply Eucerin lotion to my feet before bed, and then I put my socks on and in the morning my feet are so soft!

  59. I always like to use homemade remedies for the skin. My favorite has to be sour cream! After I put it on my face, my hands still have a little sour cream on them. And after I rinse it off of my hands after it being on them for only a few seconds, they are so silky and smooth…so you can imagine what my face feels like when I take the masque off of it! It feels so supple and hydrated, and my skin looks so evened out and dewwy with regular use of sour cream. I also like to mix some things in with the cream, such as melted chocolate or a little olive oil for extremely superb hydration.

  60. I apply Eucerin lotion all over my arms, hands, legs and feet after I take a shower and to my hands after washing them throughout the day.

  61. I use Aquaphor for EVERYTHING!!! Chapped lips, noses, fingers and toes. It works especially well overnight…by morning we all wake up soft & smooth. It is with me at all times!

  62. Always moisturize your skin after coming out the shower or bath. The skin will absorb the lotions. Lather lotion on your feet and put on cotton socks so your feet will feel pampered. I have been removing eye makeup with baby oil for years and my eye area looks great for my age. Don’t forget your lips – you want to be kissable !

  63. I use Eucerin Calming Cream on my extra dry skin after my bath or shower. Can’t wait to try the new Eucerin Professional Repair Cream.

  64. I slather my feet with Eucerin cream and put on socks before bed to help keep them soft and presentable. Especially with the warmer weather coming, I hope! 🙂

  65. Eucerin is a must for me after going through a series a allergy testing. I now use it from head to toe everyday & so happy i am able to use it, would love to try the new professional repair.

  66. I have such dry skin so I made it a priority to stay hydrated inside and out. After showering I slather myself with Eucerin. My feet get the same treatment every night. Eucerin covered tootsies! I also make sure I drink tons of water/liquids. My skin has never looked better even if I do say so myself! 🙂

  67. I’m a big fan of Eucerin Redness Relief. I apply it to my face after first showering and then applying prescription anti-acne meds. It’s the perfect follow-up to such a harsh regime, because the greeness works ar reducing redness and the lotion itself contains soothing elements and SPF 15, to prevent further inflammation throughout the day. And I really like the way it evens out my complexion and keeps my skin from getting dry.

  68. After taking a shower, I slather on body lotion as soon as I towel off while the skin is still moist.

  69. I keep my skin healthy and hydrated by exfoliating my skin once a week. It can be something as easy and simple as a sugar and honey scrub. Once you are done exfoliating, pat the skin dry and moisturize with your favorite moisturizer. Moisturizers work better on exfoliated skin. Also, don’t forget to drink water!

  70. After I shower, before I dry off; I apply a good bodyoil all over to mix with the warmth of my skin and the moisture. Then I dry off!

  71. Once I shower I towel dryer and apply eucerin all over my face and body. My skin was dry and patchy, as soon as I started using this product I noticed a big difference. During the I apply it on hands, arms and before I go to bed reapply again. I used to scratch constantly and have tons products from the doctors that never worked this is truly the best product on the market!! Thank you Eucerin!.

  72. I have read that drinking lots of water is good for your skin. I also think using a high quality lotion like Eucerin is helpful!

  73. I keep the skin on my hands hydrated by constantly applying a hydrating lotion, using Olay hand renewal soap when doing dishes and keeping well hydrated

  74. With summer coming up and wearing sandals, flip flops, going barefoot. My feet get dried out from the constant exposure to air and calloused from the pounding on the ground. So, before going to bed I put on Eucerin Aquafor on my feet then a pair of socks and wear til morning. Repeat as necessary.

  75. My dermatologist recommends that people with dry skin not scrub legs and arms daily because it can be drying. That and applying lotion to wet skin has helped my dry skin tremendously!

  76. I keep my skin healthy and hydrated by taking care of it from the inside out by eating a
colorful array of fresh fruits and vegetable and drinking plenty of water. I also apply moisturizer
immediately after my shower to make sure it is absorbed into my pores!!

  77. I drink lots of water with a bit of lemon to keep my skin hydrated. I love to moisturizer in the morning and at night.

  78. How I keep my skin hydrated is drinking a lot of water throughout the day. Lotion-wise, I apply moisturizer before bedtime and in the middle of the day.

  79. I apply vaseline at night before bed and put white socks over my feet and moisturizing gloves on my hands then wake in the morning an apply lotion. It works beautifully!!
