Estée Lauder’s newest collection is all about glamour, Hollywood style, and was designed by Michael Kors. On the heels of his fragrance release by the same name, he teamed with the folks at Estée on a Very Hollywood beauty look. I am really digging some of these pieces. The packaging is a refreshing departure from Estée blue with nude colored compacts and bright coral on the boxes. Plus, the color story features neutral eyes and pops of pink and coral for both the lips and cheeks – a look I often sport.
Very Hollywood features two main looks – Rodeo Pink and Bel Air Beige – with coordinating shades of blush, eyeshadow duos, lip sheens and glosses. The former look is all about vibrant raspberry lips and cheeks and a defined eye and the latter features a soft beige and coral palette with a neutral smokey eye. Normally I’m such a pink girl, but in this instance I am all over the Bel Air Beige look. I think that the blushes and lip sheens are colors that one might find they already have in their makeup bag, but if you don’t or are in the mood for something new these are a good option. As I like to say, they’re just pretty and who doesn’t love pretty?
The product that most caught my eye from Very Hollywood was the Shimmering Loose Powder. I tested this at Macy’s the other day and was this close to buying it. I didn’t, but I might go back! It’s a universal shade of shimmer with a twinge of gold.
Anything catching (or caught) your eye from Very Hollywood? Do tell!
