My sparkly Thanksgiving mani endured quite the workout over the holiday weekend — between all of the cooking and clean-up, and Black Friday shopping, it lost some of its luster. I like to start the week with a fresh manicure, so I opted for School of Hard Rocks from Essie’s Cocktail Bling collection. It’s a creamy, muted green-grey (official description is midnight malachite). It’s a pretty unique shade, and comes across a little brighter when outside — which I love. I think this color will be complimentary to a fresh covering of snow. We had a few flurries in Chicago this morning, but nothing really stuck. I’m still hoping for a good snow, soon. I always look forward to the first one!
