Guess who is Cover Girl’s newest face? This morning they have confirmed that Ellen DeGeneres is Cover Girl’s newest face.

Her beauty and down-to-earth personality fit perfectly with what CoverGirl represents.” said Esi Eggleston Bracey, Vice President and General Manager of Global Cosmetics for Procter & Gamble Beauty. I think this is a very smart move on Cover Girl’s part. She will be featured in her first beauty campaign in January 2009 and you can sign up on their website now for more information when that campaign launches.
I have now stopped purchasing CoverGirl products, too bad. Good news, there are many other cosmetic choices “out there” to choose from, so CoverGirl won’t be missed by me.
@terie wouds – I’m curious, why is it that this announcement made you decide this? Is it because of her sexuality? I would hope that’s not the case.
CoverGirl made a great choice with Ellen! I hope other beauty powerhouses follow in their footsteps and choose models based on the whole package.
