Chanel Spring 2009 Makeup Collection

Chanel’s releases have become a favorite of mine. I get excited when I see there’s something new from them. This Spring 2009 Makeup Collection will definitely test my newly imposed beauty budget.

I’ve been eying Vendetta every time I’m near a counter. I started biting my nails again around Christmas but this color is so hot that I’m doing everything I can to keep from attacking my nails… I want Vendetta on my nails pronto!

Inspired by Gypsie dark eyes and fiery lips, the collection includes:

LIPS: Six shades of Rouge Hydrabase Creme Lipstick in Rose Rebelle (pink), Euphoria (intense pink), Fiesta (apricot), Fuego (coral red), Beige Desire (beige) and Gipsy Scarlett (red).  Two shades of Aqualumiere Sheer Colour Lipshine SPF 15 in Malta (copper) and Positano (beige). Two shades of Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Wild Rose (rosewood) and Beige Guitare (taupe).  Twp shades of Rouge Double Intensite Ultra Wear Lip Colour in Alexandrite (red) and Opal Rose (pink).

EYES: New Les Ombres Quadra Eye Shadow in Mystic Eyes with tones of plum, pink, beige and bronze. Two shades of Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Magic Night (plum shimmer) and Liberty (beige shimmer). One shade of Ombre D’Eau Fluid Iridescent Eyeshadow in Delta (gold). One shade of Le Crayon Yeux Precision Eye Definer in Brun Cuivré (brown).

NAILS: Two new shades of Le Vernis Nail Colour in Vendetta (dark violet) and Django (beige pink).

FACE: Poudre Universelle Compacte in Beige and Joues Contraste Powder Blush in Brun.

I doesn’t end there. This chic little lip palette also graces this collection with it’s presence. It features five shades of Chanel’s satin lip color in shades ranging from pale pink to deep plum. How glamorous would you look touching up your lips with this in hand?
