Time to Shine: Chanel Rouge Coco Shines Available Now at Virtual Pop-Up Shop

Are you a Chanel Facebook fan? If not, now is the time to “like” the page! For the next two days, April 4 and 5, Chanel is debuting Rouge Coco Shine to its Facebook fans through a virtual pop-up store.  You’ll actually be able to purchase the lipstick before it makes a national debut.

Rouge Coco Shine is one of our top lip picks for spring and summer. There is so much to love about this formula, namely the shine factor. It’s like a popsicle on your lips, a sheer wash of color. I’ve been living for my tube of Boy (review here!)

With 18 shades to choose from – each named to represent a moment in the life of Coco Chanel – there is at least one option for everyone. But given the sheer nature, these have to be the most forgiving, universally flattering lipsticks available. I’ve got my eye on Liberte, a sheer apricot, and Aventure, a shimmering pink.

  1. I adore glossy finish lipsticks, they feel so soft and smooth on your lips. I would have to say though that come summer (it’s coming, I swear) I find that you have to be really careful with these in your makeup bag. I made that mistake once (and subsequently burned my lip trying to wear it) and was left with a puddled mess.

    1. Hi Jaime! If warmer weather doesn’t come soon, I’m going to be one sad girl:( We got a tease of 70 degrees in Chicago yesterday and it was bliss! I didn’t even mind that it was insanely windy (there’s always a catch, isn’t there?)

I have melting issues with MAC Cremesheen Lipsticks — can see it happening with these too. I will have to be careful — luckily I’m in AC most of the day.

  2. Everyone seems to love these lipsticks! I have to finally get some Chanel products. It’ not just the price! I’m intimidated even going up to the counter sometimes. XO

    1. Hi Amanda! I know what you’re saying — but give it a go! No pressure to buy — I always avoid pushy counter people. Luckily, most of the folks I visit are super friendly and not at all intimidating. Remember, they should be pleasing you as the customer:)

  3. I totally bought the Liberte this moring. It was between that and Boy, which I still think I may get soon. Maybe I will go back today a order! I cant wait to get it! 🙂

p.s. glad you are back after your “sabbatical”
