The Estee Lauder Love Your Lips collection comes just in time for Valentine’s Day. This limited-edition collection of contains 12 Estee Lauder Signature Hydra Lustre Lipstick shades and 4 new Kissable Lip Gloss shades. Each lipstick is branded with a “L♥VE” logo on it and the glosses are packaged in vials with the same logo on them. Three lipstick shades make their debut with this collection: Cherry Kiss, Pink Kiss, and Coral Kiss. For the Estee Lauder Kissable Lip Gloss, all 4 shades are making their debut: Sweet Kiss, Cherry Kiss, Pink Kiss, and Coral Kiss.
This collection is just too cute for words, I am smitten with it. You can pucker up with this collection now, it is available online at esteelauder.com.
Estée Lauder’s newest collection is all about glamour, Hollywood style, and was designed by Michael Kors. On the heels of his fragrance release by the same name, he teamed with the folks at Estée on a Very Hollywood beauty look. I am really digging some of these pieces. The packaging is a refreshing departure from Estée blue with nude colored compacts and bright coral on the boxes. Plus, the color story features neutral eyes and pops of pink and coral for both the lips and cheeks – a look I often sport.
Very Hollywood features two main looks – Rodeo Pink and Bel Air Beige – with coordinating shades of blush, eyeshadow duos, lip sheens and glosses. The former look is all about vibrant raspberry lips and cheeks and a defined eye and the latter features a soft beige and coral palette with a neutral smokey eye. Normally I’m such a pink girl, but in this instance I am all over the Bel Air Beige look. I think that the blushes and lip sheens are colors that one might find they already have in their makeup bag, but if you don’t or are in the mood for something new these are a good option. As I like to say, they’re just pretty and who doesn’t love pretty?
The product that most caught my eye from Very Hollywood was the Shimmering Loose Powder. I tested this at Macy’s the other day and was this close to buying it. I didn’t, but I might go back! It’s a universal shade of shimmer with a twinge of gold.
Anything catching (or caught) your eye from Very Hollywood? Do tell!
On counters this month is a new Estee Lauder collection honoring the smokey eye and the darkest lashes possible. The Blacker than Black collection features six (!) mascaras, the signature Black Smoke eyeshadow quad and the Double Wear Eye Pencil in Onyx. Basically your toolbox for creating a sultry smokey eye.
This is a serious mascara lineup – the formulas Estee fans know and love but in new, intense jet black shades. There is nothing subtle about them, making them perfect for creating a dramatic eye.
- TurboLash in Turbo Black – limited edition
- Sumptuous Bold Volume Lifting Mascara in Bold Black – limited edition
- Double Wear Zero-Smudge Lengthening Mascara in Blacker Black – limited edition
- Projectionist in Jet Black – limited edition
- Magnascopic in Black
- More than Mascara in More Black
While the mascaras are clearly the stars of this collection, you can’t have a smokey eye without the smoke. And ladies, the Double Wear Eye Pencils create some serious smoke. I’ve been using this pencil for the past month and think it is arguably one of the best formulas of pencil eyeliner out there. It’s creamy and easy to work with and once it sets, it sets!
What do you think about this collection? I like that it’s centered around mascara. And I am loving the promo image – right down to the black glove!

Estée Lauder’s Ultimate Red holiday collection features a complimentary palette of gold shimmer, rich reds and cool plum tones. It’s a very festive collection and there are two prominent looks from Ultimate Red centered around the two eye palettes: Gold Opulence and Lavish Plum. While both are stunning, Lavish Plum’s cool plummy tones are right up my alley. Let’s have a chat about Lavish Plum!
I really like this quad because the colors work really well together and they are shades that I tend to gravitate towards. But this quad has a secret weapon and it’s the top right shade. Looks rather unassuming in the picture, but it’s actually a beautiful, shimmery, light plummy taupe. I tried to capture it for you!
This shade just does it for me. As I said, this quad just works really well but I’ve hardly been using the other shades:)

Each year, Estée Lauder puts out some of the best Breast Cancer Awareness month product sets. It’s a cause very close to their hearts and I always look forward to seeing what they’re going to do.
This year we have two limited-edition sets to admire – of which Estée Lauder will donate $500,000 in sales to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Isn’t that incredible?
Now onto the lippies. First up: the Evelyn Lauder Lip Set. Handpicked by Evelyn herself, this includes Pure Color Lipstick in Bois de Rose, High Gloss in Blush and Artist’s Lip Pencil in Spice Writer.
Next we have the Elizabeth Hurley Lip Set, handpicked by the actress herself, which includes Pure Color Lipstick in Elizabeth Pink, High Gloss in Pink Lady and Artist’s Lip Pencil in Pink Writer. Both sets are packaged in a pink fabric, mirrored lipstick case and available at all Estée Lauder counters and online at www.esteelauder.com.
These are a fantastic deal at $22 each! Seriously, I die for High Gloss. And invoking Rachel Zoe’s catchphrases…
I think both of these sets are gorgeous, but I love my pinky-pinks, so I’d opt for the Elizabeth Hurley set. What about you? What’s your pink preference?
I was browsing through the Neiman Marcus website and I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw this. Now, I am not an Estee Lauder compact collector but for this limited edition Estee Lauder Floral Dynasty Metal Compact, I definitely could be. Isn’t this simply stunning? I am in complete awe of this compact. Isn’t this the most beautiful compact you have ever seen? I have to admit, this is a little out of my league but for those whom it is not, it comes filled with Re-Nutriv Intensive Comfort Pressed Powder (is refillable with Lucidity Pressed Powder) and in a velvet pouch for safe keeping. But really, would you even risk a scratch on this little beauty by using it and carrying it around? I think not.
Now isn’t this clever? We all want that perfect photo for our Facebook profile or our website, don’t we? I can’t tell you how many times I have tried to take a picture with the intent of posting it here but I delay because my makeup is not right or the lighting is wrong… it’s always something. Now Estee Lauder is helping you do it right. Stop by their counter during this event and they’ll give you a makeover and take your picture so that you can use it on your profile. Isn’t this a great idea?
Check out Estee Lauder’s Facebook page and Estee Lauder’s website for more information. If you attend the event near you, let us know all about it.
Estee Lauder has released their new Fuchsia Now Color collection and it takes bold color and combines with soft neutrals. I love the pop of color we’re seeing in all these spring collections. Don’t you?

It’s that time of year when we start bringing out our warmer scents, the ones that warm you up the instant you put them on. A fabulous new scent for this season is Estee Lauder’s Private Collection Amber Ylang Ylang. If you like amber, give this perfume a try next time you’re near an Estee Lauder counter.
Amber Ylang Ylang is the second perfume in Aerin Lauder’s Private Collection. The first is this summer’s Tuberose Gardenia. This perfume is completely opposite, it’s very rich, warm and alluring where Tuberose Gardenia is sharply floral. It has top notes of ylang, bergamot and geranium, middle notes of Bulgarian rose, cinnamon Ceylon and incense then bottom notes of vanilla bean, sandalwood and of course amber.
The amber in this perfume is strong and rich, it seems almost powdery warm to me. The incense is more noticeable in the dry down and we smelled a bit of the rose on me but my friend Lea (the expert nose between the 2 of us) couldn’t smell it on herself. This perfume also has good sillage, at the end of the night I can still smell the scent on my body and clothes. My co-worker kept commenting on it when she was around me.
This perfume an instant love, I received a small sample of Estee Lauder’s Private Collection Amber Ylang Ylang and I am already treating this sample like precious gold. Let’s hope someone in my family is reading this and thinks a full bottle would make a great gift! 😉
Out of all of the companies working to raise awareness during the past month, Estee Lauder deserves a huge amount of praise for their efforts. They have so many products from their various companies benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. They are also donating $500,000 from the sale of their Pink Ribbon Collection products. This is just one of those products.
It may be sold out online but the Estee Lauder Elizabeth Hurley High Gloss Lip Color Collection is beyond cute and still available in stores. For $16, it features Elizabeth Hurley’s favorite Pearl, Pink (limited edition shade) and Rose High Gloss shades in a limited edition Pink Ribbon case. I love this gloss! It’s not sticky, glides on and it smells divine. You’ll love the vanilla-fig scent as soon as you try it!
You can find other products in the Pink Ribbon collection here including a pink ribbon pin you can wear all year round. The Beautiful Eau de Parfum Spray in the 2.5 fl. oz. size and Perfectionist CP+ Wrinkle Lifting Serum in the 1.7 fl. oz size are also part of the campaign this month.
