If there’s one lip product I have been reaching for more than any other lately, it is Bite Beauty’s Lush Lip Tints. They are a luscious combination of argan oil, vitamin E and fruit butters that help nourish your lips all while giving them a creamy, long wearing pop of color. In the spirit of keeping it easy, breezy, these Lip Tints will be permanent fixtures in my makeup bag and will a Beauty VIP of the week, every week this summer.

What else is there to love about Bite’s Lip Tints? Well, how about their versatility? You can dab it on for a soft stain or glide it back and forth to really build the color on your lips. Most of the time I like packing on the color but I do lightly dab Raspberry when I don’t want as much color. Either way, my lips remain soft and hydrated with a dose of antioxidants. These Lip Tints also give lips a soft sheen when you build on the color, as you can see in the swatches below. For a gal like me who favors lipstick over lipgloss, that’s a no brainer. Other thing to love about these? As I’m getting older, color bleeding or feathering has suddenly become a concern much to my dislike. The good thing is this not a concern here.
The “B” seen here in the middle is actually a double dose of resveratrol, Bite Beauty’s signature ingredient. If you’re new to Bite Beauty, most if not all of their products contain resveratrol, antioxidants found in the skin of red grapes and other fruits. The same antioxidants you would find in a glass of red wine are now in your makeup. Bite also uses food-grade color in their products making them actually good enough to eat. If you ever get a craving for lip color, you know which brand to reach for! 😉
Right now I’m obsessed with two shades in particular: Watermelon and Tangelo. I received Tangelo and Raspberry as samples and from the moment I tried on Tangelo for the first time, it was game on. It was the only color I was craving, I’ve been in a very Tangerine Tango mood lately. My friends can attest to that, they are probably sick of seeing my gauzey peasant top that matches Tangelo. I will dab on Raspberry when I’m feeling the need for something a little darker but Tangelo was my go-to. Then one day I tried Watermelon. It didn’t seem like much in the tube but on the lips is really rather pretty. I had to have right then and there, Watermelon broke Tangelo’s tight grip on my lips. Judging by the stock on the shelves, a lot of other gals seem to be preferring Watermelon too. If you could only try one shade from the bunch, I would make it Watermelon.
