Back to BE with bareMinerals Well Rested Face and Eye Brightener

I’ve long loved bareMinerals, but haven’t regularly used any of their face products for years. I got burnt out after an intense mineral makeup phase in 2007. But I’m back, baby! In fact, I’ve been on a little bit of bareMinerals binge. It started first with the intro of the READY Foundation (pressed bareMinerals!) and then quickly progressed to the Well Rested Face & Eye Brightener. I spotted this click-style pen at Ulta and was intrigued because it’s one shade for all and essentially clear. Slightly creamy, but mainly clear.

Here’s what you need to know: it totally works! I don’t struggle with dark circles, so on most days, this acts as my concealer. It gives me that awake look and has absolutely no shimmer, which I love. I pat it in and it goes from creamy clear-ish to just dewy and bright. I use this all over my face as I would a highlighter and it’s all “I’m wearing highlighter but you can’t see it because it’s magic.” Or something. No-makeup makeup mavens will go nuts for this pen, because it gives everything a lift without doing anything obvious. I’m 100% satisfied with this purchase and getting excited about what Leslie Blodgett and her crew of BE babes will do next.

I do have dark circles and I am dying to try it. I’m not a powder kind of gal so I don’t buy too many Bare Minerals products but this looks like a must have
