If I had the chance to meet Vincent Longo, I’d tell him that I adore his lip stains and how I’ve traveled up and down the Puget Sound to get my hands on his Pearlessence Gel stains when they came out. Unfortunately, that will not be happening any time soon for me but it very well may be in your future!
Vincent Longo will be making appearances at Barney’s this Saturday, November 8th in Beverly Hills and then next Saturday, November 15th in New York City. He’ll be there to promote his La Dolce Vita Lashes and Eye Collection. Here are the details:

If you, let us know how it went! We’d love to hear all about it.
Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion is a cult favorite among beauty addicts everywhere and now Urban Decay is giving us 60% more Eyeshadow Primer Potion in their new Urban Decay Urban Essentials Set.
This new set features a bigger version of Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion with twice as much product and 2 of their most popular eyeshadows in Goddess (a shimmering midnight blue) and Midnight Cowboy (a golden beige) for $39. You can find it online at Urban Decay’s website.
Now I know that Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion doesn’t always let you get the most usage out of the product and we’ve found ways around that.
This is tempting though, very, very tempting…
Since we’re on the topic, I had to show you this Bobbi Brown Artist Lip Palette I am lusting after. I was on the Bobbi Brown website looking at swatches of the new Party collection eye shadows when I started looking through the gift guide. That’s when I came accross this beautiful lip palette. Just look at it, isn’t it gorgeous?
This beauty comes with 42 different lipstick shades in 3 different formulas; Lip Color, Creamy Lip Color and Lip Sheers. You can find a listing of the exact shades included here. This limited edition palette is a lipstick lover’s dream.
There is a downside, the Bobbi Brown Artist Lip Palette is not exactly cheap. At $200, this is strictly a wishlist item for me unless some willing sugardaddy comes along. I’m trying to save for New York Fashion Week in February! A gal can dream though…

Bobbi Brown has a new collection for the holiday season, her Copper Diamond collection. This collection introduces a new Copper Diamond Shimmer Brick, 3 new Glitter Lip Balms and a limited edition Everything Mascara and waterproof Lash Glamour Lengthening Mascara duo.
Having become a recent Shimmer Brick convert, this one was immediately added to my wishlist. With it’s shades of Candlelight, Gold, Copper, Beige, and Sand, how can it not? The Glitter Lip Balms seem interesting as well. I usually do not go for lip balms like this but I’m thinking Crystal Diamond might look nice over a stain.
Have you ever used a Bobbi Brown mascara? I’d love to know what you think… this duo seems interesting!
When we were in Paris, we went to the Beyond Beauty trade show. This was one of my favorite things that we did while we were there. This trade show featured different beauty brands from all over the world. One of the brands that I spent a little time with at the show was Be Fine Food Skin Care.
When I walked up to their booth, I noticed one product in particular, the Rough Spot Lemon Balm. The idea behind this product is that you open up the “lemon” and on each side you have a skin softening balm to get rid of those rough spots on knees and elbows. I couldn’t help but think of Lianne from the Makeup Girl when I saw this, this is after all her motto.
When you open the Rough Spot Lemon Balm, it even smells just like a lemon. It helps smooth skin with shea butter and avocado oil. It also has vitamins A and E in it to help nourish skin. I’ve been using this product on and off since I got back and results have been good. I don’t think that this performs any better than an average moisturizer but I am really enjoying the smell and the packaging here. The novelty of this product is defintiely working on me.
Every year MAC addicts all over look forward to MAC’s holiday collections every year. I always enjoy seeing what shades are being grouped together, what brushes are going to be each set and most of all, the design of the packaging. I think I look forward to seeing the packing most of all. It’s what keeps me buying palettes and brushes I already have. Let’s take a look at what’s new this year.
The holidays wouldn’t be complete without a MAC holiday collection and Red She Said is just that collection. This collection has some repromotes such as the Fluidlines, the eyebrow pencils and most of the Dazzleglass glosses but there’s still plenty of new things to play with.
Here’s what’s in this collection:
Also available at MAC counters right now is the Suite Array collection. It features 8 limited edition eyeshadow duos and 8 limited edition eyeliners. This collection is all about sparkle. Each eyeshadow duo has shimmer in it and these Pearlglide eyeliners have a reflective finish to them.
Here’s what’s in this collection.
Next up is Cremesheen, a limited edition creme based formula from MAC. First, I have to say how much I love this image. It’s just a gorgeous beauty shot and the colors in it look fabulous. It’s just a shame that I cannot get away with shades like that on my nails.
